While looking for a BMX bike to accompany my kids to the Pump Track I got one like this for little money:

Mine has the Big S-Logo on downtube and a trademark (?) padding on the top tube, apart from that very similar frame.
It's a Specialized Fatboy 20" BMX bike. I suppose from the late nineties, early noughties.
It's meant to be Chromoly and has this quirky seat tube solution (which doesn't look very stiff to me).
Does anybody know more about them?
- are they any good? light? stiff? durable?
- or rather a pure fashionable style-over-function bike?
- proper adult BMX or rather a kids bike?
- what type of BMX bike are they meant to be? race? park?
- were they expensive in their days?
- desirable...?
And while you wonder: it was dead cheap but near end of auction so I didn't investigate much prior to buying.
Many thanks!
I used to have a red one if those. Ment to be a race bike
Can't rember how much they used to sell for though
