[Closed] Spec Ground Control - run backwards?

Anyone tried running Ground Control in the opposite direction to that indicated on the casing?

Generally I'm a fan of Spec tyres, but I find these sketchy when it matters most.Came fitted to R wheel on new bike  (Purgatory up front). I hoped they'd improved since the last versions I had a while ago, but not really.

The direction of rotation is shown as the same whether used front and back.Other tyres with similar lugs (XC Pro, Trail Kings) run in different direction on the rear (ie with lugs facing outwards). So what could go wrong? Else it's getting the purse out for Butchers.
