Got a chance to get one of these for about 800 quid (2011 model, mostly unridden). Any thoughts about them?

A pal had one of these too and he really liked it! Used it as a DH bike and it did the trick! Good value bikes,
I had one of the first era bikes and it was brilliant, the only downside was the silky rear wheel. Mine with a Push tuned Van RC was a better bike than the Demo 9 that replaced it.
Fundamentally the later ones aren't that different, so I'd go for it.
Good bikes, I had one for 2 years bought new. The frame bearings didnt last long so got a replacement set from BETD. Headset & chainguide were tat but all the other stuff was fine functionally but I changed pretty much all the spec apart from ther wheels, sold bits when new and bought second hand so didnt lose out & Loco tuned the shock for me to give more support. Improved my riding no end and got me into DH.
