Had a medium Trance with LOADS of seat post showing - caused me to have back pain ๐Ÿ™ No amount of fiddling with seat position/angle could help so i conceded that it was too small (I am 6ft 1 and it was a medium with max seat post extension ๐Ÿ™ )
So sold that frame, bought another Trance 3 from Pauls Cycles - stripped it and flogged the parts, it arrived today and has been built up with my parts ๐Ÿ™‚

So from this:

To This:

I know that the last piece of cable outer is different but i want to ride in the morning!!

Full spec is:
Trance X3 Frame with RP2
Talas RLC 140/120/100
Stans 355 rims on Hope pro2s (Spesh The captain and Eskar Sworks 2 bliss tyres run tubeless)
Hope ceramic BB and SLX chainset
Candy Cs
Ea70 90mm stem
FSA K-Force Carbon risers
Joplin and Fi Zik Gobi XM (kium rails)
Avid Elixir R Brakes
XT mechs and SLX shifters

Bet it does, I am 5'10" and the medium felt waaaayyy to small for me....can't help thinking Giant messed up the sizing on the Trance range there should be M\L in there.

Saying giants are small would be sarcastic.

Glad to hear you're happy - I'm about a inch and a half shorter than you and have ridden medium Trance and Trance X s for the last 4 years - Which are just big enough. Large is certainly your size.....

Nonetheless it's a great bike.

Joking apart there does look to be quite a big difference in frame sizes between the two.
Looks more like the difference between a small and a large.
