Decided to take advantage of clear blue skies today and take the road bike to work. Took longer than expected (I may have accidentally decided to go through the forest instead of the quicker way) but the weather was fantastic (cold and clear) and every cyclist be they on road bikes, mountain bikes or hybrids had a big smile on their face and either waved or said hello in passing.
Great start to the day and the week...
I do not believe that is a real road.
But I live in Edinburgh, comparable to 3rd world surfaces.
It's beautiful to feel like that though, when every thing is whispering " spring is here" and that's a lovely, lovely photo of the woods.
Advantages of a small country with too many public works; they tend to replace the roads on a rolling basis whether they need it or not. That one is especially smooth though.
It does feel like spring today though after 2 weeks of pretty much constant rain.
That has to be Switzerland then ...
I would buy a road bike this afternoon if that's what I had to go on.
As it happens, I need a session 9.9 to commute through the volcanic landscape that's left.
Edit: A road appreciation comments? I'm outta here!
