hi
i remember seeing some softshell type shorts, now the winter is changing to spring, i need some new shorts.

they were a bit trendy perhaps Sombrio made? have looked cannot see!

Gore Bike Wear. Have a hunt around online cos some were reduced, can't remember where though. Wish they would do a girlie version.

i bought a pair of softshell trousers from aldi a few weeks back for 2oquid,think im gona take them to the seemstress and ask her to put zips below the knees and get the turned into zip-off shorts,

Got hold of some Gore Fusion 3/4 length ones in Jan sale.

Very comfy, but more "shell" than "soft" - for some reason I expected them to be more like the XCR type windproof fleeces.

Haglöfs does a soft shell short called the, erm, Lizard, I think. More of an all-round wind-resistant, stretch thing and not super baggy, but useable on the bike. Royal Racing used to do some stretch baggies that were pretty much soft shell if you proofed them. Gore Bikewear for Windstopper 3/4s.
