Cotton and a rolling hitch doesn't come undone for me....

That said, I'm not buying an internal routed bike again. Changed two sets in the last fortnight, and even with no mistakes its a 20-30 minute job.
My bike this morning was replaced in under 5 minutes. Full length cable on outside of frame, ziptied on.

Bane of life as an orange owner.

You can have a lend of my park internal routing kit if you need it?

Same here. Internal gear cable and I have to fit 1.1mm internal to get the gears partially working. External and all is great.

Have you tried cotton and a vacuum cleaner? Tape off any other holes and suck the thread through to the exit? Or near the exit and go again?

I used a small screw tied to a piece of string and a strong neodymium magnet to pull it through. Piece of pee

Done only one swear word. Old gear inner and a bent spoke....

Its like fishing but not as dull.
