Someone called me a "moronic dog owner" last week

that's just silly, we all know your dog is far cleverer than you!

Not a person, but a topic. I find some of the anti-religious sentiment on here really disturbing. No problem with reasoned arguments/questions/the-occasional-snide-comment; it's just the really nasty/ignorant stuff that grates.

No problem with reasoned arguments

Religious belief is an opinion like any other and thus open to the same scrutiny, debate and yes, mockery.

It's the people who think religious belief is a special case that offend me.

But that's only an opinion, of course, and like all of my opinions, you're free to laugh or take the p**s as much as you like.

There is no right not to be offended.

Oh go on then...

Igom (think that was his name), remember him ? I still think he was a regular poster with a different log in.

42 - That picture of him naked with his thousand yard stare.... *shudders*

Whilst not really offending me, IIRC he did offend a lot of the girls from hereabout, one in particular.

Reading his fall from grace on here and BM was, in truth, hilarious.

A couple of days after the 42 "incident" he turned up to a club trail maintenance day, the club secretary had a few words with him and he was off and never seen again!

I'd say that the 42 incident was probably the most notorious one for causing offense.

Hora, see the original roll call thread.

you should see some of the uk surf forums, most threads degenerate into pre-pubescent name calling with liberal use of the C word within about 2 or 3 posts.

Dont think I've read anything on here that offends me. But then I'm rarely offended unless things are personally aimed at me, rather than generalisations. I'd happily meet anyone on here for a beer, just to see what they were like in person, but one or two have such opposing views on things that I often end up properly riled over their comments. I'm learning not to care as I get older, apathy - its the way forward ๐Ÿ˜€

In all the years I've been on this site, I can honestly say that I haven't read anything that has really offended me. Then again, I am very rarely offended by anything.

That completely reflects my thoughts.

The only posts which have ever upset me, have been posted by me. Like when I've read something back and thought, "You muppet, that doesn't make any sense at all, what are you ..... some sort of w4nker ?" I find that most upsetting and sometimes, I might even ban myself. Luckily it doesn't happen too often ๐Ÿ˜‰

the thread on the fork leg for measuring sag.
What happened to him?

Remember "tattybread", tattybread?

HOHO! and HO!

ah, this is what it's all about, talk to richpenny, who my discussion about the purbecks ride was with in the weeks leading up to it, breaking away to do our own ride (with a beginner i might add, only her 3rd ever off road ride) was always the plan, sorry you weren't informed! i must run all my route plans past you in future ๐Ÿ™„

No Rudeboy brainfarts yet?

He must be

a) coming to terms with his rank hypocrisy

or

b)Out enjoying Londons fabled Diversity,Vibrancy, and Architecture.

Still, I'll ๐Ÿ˜† regardless.

Funny how a poster can criticise another poster for creating a login after several bannings simply to stalk another poster, having done the same thing themself. Ask poor old "sodafarls" about "tatty bread". It turned his hair grey. Now that is hypocrisy.
