Did a cracking 37 miles in the Dales today, Horton to Buckden and back... and saw no other bikers. Not one (except two lads loading the car up when I got back).
Lovely out today as well, Dusty conditions after the frost had lifted.
Cant remember the last ride out in such a popular area where I didnt see anyone.
Rode up there last weekend and we didn't see anyone either. Very quiet.
My excuse this weekend was a mud free weekend, road riding in the Lakes.
They all must of been down my way...
I had 5 dog eggs on the front tyre and runny one on the wheel rim and crown and 3 on the back tyre ๐
Dry trails all day and had to wash the bike when I got home.
Lovely day and perfect for a dales ride
:cry:my sick note is orders to decorate the dining room as new furniture delivery is soon , Good news is got if finished .
so will most likely rain for the next month
Sorry - was showing a 4 year old round the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum. Should have asked first. Won't happen again - well not with out permission.
i fell on my head today and got concussion ๐ no sick note needed ๐
Back problem reared its ugly head again ๐ฅ so went walking with the missus instead
About 200 people in Chapel for the Dark and White trailquest - great conditions, great weather, great event area, home turf and managed to post my worst score ever. Had no energy and sacked it off at 90mins and coasted back ๐
you know where I went you were not man enough ๐
This young man was having a great day out - I think his bike would have
been too big for Ton!!
