So I've borrowed a mates Marin Quad (wolf Ridge) 140mm and i'm contemplating picking up a second hand frame from somewhere.
SO what forks are best matched to the frame do you lot use?
I'm using a set of Lyriks at the moment and they feel great but think i could do with a little bit more travel. I'm after to set this up as a hardcore trail bike potentially with some Alps use so theyve got to be stiff and sturdy.
what forks do you lot use?
What do you suggest?
Just buy mine killer, it's local and everything....
Forks wise pikes of lyriks/36's. As you love mikes so much i'd go for the bigger ones. Wiggins might have some spare.
Tried Rev's and 44's, both 150mm. Coil seems better matched to the rear. Not sure i'd ever go for anything bigger than 160 though, they do a bigger bike for that.
