I like my Magura Marta brakes and I think this looks great and very light but I kind of wonder how it will stand up to time.....It kind of reminds me of the Julie which is in effect a plastic brake.

Looks interesting, remember Bontrager "Strong. Light. Cheap. Pick Two." Cheap it won't be

Sexy looking piece of kit...

I'd wait a bit to see how early adopters fare perhaps?

And probably the most reliable disc brake you can get your hands on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Magura stuff is generally rock solid and unflappable. I love it ๐Ÿ™‚

MP is their top end stuff so it'll be over 400 for a set. They asked for input on their forum ages ago as to what would make the "ultimate" brake, and it's good to see they addressed things such as specific L&R levers (pointless for manufacturing and a pain as a rider), R1 style clamps etc.

The "ultimate" brake didn't necessarily mean the lightest. Hopefully they're still a cinch to service like the Martas and Louises

I've had a set of the new storm rotors for ages, but still waiting for a frame warranty replacement to hang them on and try them out.
