I was going to pop up to the Lakes while I'm up north for Xmas but I'm told the trails are all iced up so I'm thinking of having a hack round Penmachno on Monday. Was up on Snowdon (walking, not riding!) today - proper winter conditions and some amazing photos, although Capel was pretty thawed out so I'm guessing Penmachno will be good to go without any scary icy moments. Can anyone furnish me with some local knowledge about the trails?
