I've gone and bought a new CX bike for the coming season and it comes with a rather fetching pair of Vee Tire XCX skin wall tubeless tyre which look ace and are no doubt fast as anything in bone dry to slightly damp'ish condition, but we live in the UK and we all know CX races get very muddy indeed.

What's out there in a similar vein looks wise, but with nice mud based tread and a max width of 33mm?

@shedbrew you're right, I've got a couple of pairs of them in Wet & Mix sat in the shed and the TNT are indeed grey

Can't think of any tan wall tubeless for cross right now - there must be one out there but all the good race tyres from Clement, Challenge, Schwalbe, Vittoria etc are black or black/grey.

What bike did you get? Want a new one myself but was thinking it'll have to be s/h with stock being tanked everywhere.

I was sure Challenge were doing Limus in TLR AND tanwall?

I was all set to get some but am enjoying the Terreno Wet too much to take it off, great tyre.

Not sure there are any, its either tubs or those open clinchers people use with latex tubes. I know people who've managed to get them up tubeless but wouldn't trust them (the tyres not the people).

Michelin have pretty green tread ones but the sidewalls are black. The mud one's OK.

Hmm, guess I was wrong about tanwsll tubeless Limus.

For what it's worth, I raced and trained on Limus with Latex tubes and never punctured, only eventually went tubeless after a spate of Hawthorne punctures which I now suspect were more down to a pair of part worn, paper thin Continental CX tyres I was trying to 'use up'.

Vitus Energie Evo CR, looked on Sunday and none in stock in medium, looked on Monday and they had one, so I bought it. They have the both the large and medium CR (Rival CX1) and C (Apex CX1) in stock at the moment.

gravelking SK come in Skinwall? Mine run well on Mavic OpenPro rims, which are not tubeless specific.

Nice looking bike Steve - and a decisive purchase. Think I'll still be umming and awing in September.

@Gary_Lager I kinda thought why the hell not 😎 plus they seem to have massive clearance, so shouldn't clog too much.

Clearance is great... just stuck 50mm gravel tyres on mine for the Walesduro thing next weekend... got the AXS force version and am very impressed with the overall package for the price.
