I have to say, and I've ridden a lot of bikes, that a fatbike was one of only two bikes I've ridden* that I absolutely detested within the first 20 yards and couldn't give it back to its owner fast enough
Sluggish, floppy, unresponsive and tedious I thought.

*(The other was a GT Peace)

I have ridden a couple of fatbikes both on the beach and In the snow int he woods and couldn't really see why folk cream themselves over them to be honest. The whole 'Grinfactor' tm must have passed me by that said I'd still buy a 200 dollar mongoose for taking the dog down the beach in the summer but probably wouldn't feel the need to blog about it or post pics on stw.
