Having a bit of a clearout to aise funds for a new frame. Set of Middleburn RS7's next on the sale list. I'll just give them a wee spruce up to help the sale, so I start to scrub......
four hours later I emerge from the shed with these ๐

More productive than watching Bergerac or whatever is on on a Sunday night these days!
I'll take em!
Nice, might see if I can get the wife's pair of Middleburns looking like that.
How did you get 'em like that? What did they start off like??
How much do you want for them?
You can't beat a good buffing session to pass a few hours.
They started off silver anodised, good condition but a bit scruffy. I stripped the anodising with some oven cleaner and fine wire wool, any deeper scratches were sanded out with emery.
Onto the polisher, coarse mop then fine. Finally finished with car polish by hand to clean off the polishing compound.
They're sold ๐
I hope you sold them to yourself, God knows why you would want to get rid of them.
Oh & if your bored I'll send you a couple of sets of mine to clean up ๐
Don't worry, I have more. These were a 'just in case' set which lay in the shed for about 3 years. Decided it was time to move them on.
Phwoah looking good - Im going to have to give this a go.
