Strange one this morning. Started of pleasant at home with nice big fluffy snow. Got a bit damp and horrible at the valley bottom as I went below the snow line. Was virtually a blizzard as I went up and over the next hill.
Turns out you can have as many Lumens as you like, in driving snow you won't see far at all..
Finally damp again reaching work and below the snowline again.
Definitely nicer than been stuck in the car though ๐
no snow in sussex but scary, scary ice everywhere - it rained / sleet last night and it'd frozen in places. Don't mind cycling in the snow as long as I'm not in a hurry but ice isn't pleasant (very pretty though).
I came off on Tuesday on some black ice - no harm done but it was so bad I could't stand up - I'm sure it looked hilarious as I'm there on my hands and knees pushing the bike to the grass so that I can get back on my feet.
Was blizzarding across the M62 on the Pennines this morning...
Snowy on the Pentands (Edinburgh) but very wet under wheels. Expecting the temperature to drop a couple of degrees during the day so hopefully it'll be a nice icy return home
it looks like tomorrow morning should be fun:

I found out this morning that snow bloody hurts your eyes when cycling into a head wind.
Soggy snowy sleet for me this morning on my commute. But haven't cycled all week so enjoyed it.
yep wearing my safety glasses for the ride home as it stings in the eyes !
Real snow on the way back and a broken chain hmmmm, still better than driving !!
Hoping for a repeat of earlier this year
