My 11 year son is on a small frame Orange Zest 26", and he is almost outgrown it.
I am looking for something zippy, and good quality/level components. Give me some suggestions so I can search eBay etc please 🙂
Ones I am looking for currently:
Size is small adults or 15-16" I think. Orange Clockwork, Orange Crush, higher level HT Whyte's. I know these bikes and spec's.
I want 11 speed, RS or Fox forks, Shimano or Sram the same as the Zest, but better wheels would be good.

I reckon you are prime for building one from a frame.
It sounds like you have a decent spec in mind and if you build you can get components to match that without compromise.
If you're not versed in the art of bike building it will also be good to learn how to put things together which can also be useful from a maintenance point of view when you need to strip it back down and you can get you lad involved so he can learn too.
