I found an old set today in the garage.

Will they work UST even though they are not a UST tyre?

They seem pretty thin and I was wondering if this would work?

Thanks

I attempted to use some with stans. Sealant came blasting out of the release pimples on the sidewalls and that was on brand new tyres.
Might seal eventually with more patience but tubeless should be easy. I then fitted some continentals and they seated and held air even without sealant instantly.

I tubeless'ed a pair of 24" ones for my sons' bike, held for the last 6 months so far.

Shouldn't be an issue, I run my Small Block Eights with Stans sealant without any problems.

I did mine tubeless for a little while, no problems at all. Sidewalls are thin and a little more exposed than most since they don't have (or need) big knobs on the sides, so I reckon they'd be a wee bit more vulnerable to rock damage. But then, I used mine through the summer with tubes and never damaged the sidewalls, they'd be no different with latex.
