I've got a Canyon Commuter with 27.5 wheels and city bike tyres.
Last time I looked I couldn't find anywhere selling small tubes - loads at mtb tyres widths 2.1+ bit nothing for a 1.5ish tyre. It's a pretty tight rim so stuffing an overlarge tube in there is going to be hard work and have a high chance of pinching it when inflating.
It's a Schwalbe Branded tube in there now so they do exist.
Anyone ever seen anything in stock anywhere?
26" tube
Schwalbe SV21
I found this problem recently. I've not tried it but 26" are meant to be fine. But having too much time on my hands I found that Conti have a big look up table of all their tubes and I got a Conti Tour 26 (650C), Conti show this as suitable for 44-590.
Schwalbe SV21
Cheers - still from 1.5 upwards - assumed there might be something a little smaller.
26″ tube
Same issue with all the old 26" tubes I've got - all for MTB widths and if I've got to buy new may as well get something that fits properly.
Ok. My guess would be though that by stretching it (26") it will be slightly narrower , and it will fit properly
Searching for the ETRTO size is probably more useful. 27.5" is 584mm.
Can look it up on Schwalbe website. https://www.schwalbe.com/en/schlaeuche
Looks like SV12 is a narrower option.
Decathlon do a 26 thats 1.2 to 1.5 inch
Sv12
