My daughter needs a new bike and I'm keen to get her one that would last a while. She is 11 and 5'2'. Would a Small 26" Soul or Bfe be an okay fit with room to grow?
I've got one set up for my lass, who is about that height, maybe an inch taller. Seat isn't completely slammed down so you should be OK.
Try and go for Soul rather than a Bfe as the Bfe is rock solid and a it unforgiving. I liked mine but it wss a bit harder to ride than some of the other steel hardtails I've had.
Dialled Prince Albert came in 14" too, i loved that.

At the weight of a typical 11 year old girl the frame compliance will make absolutely no difference!
Yep, get the cheaper one, or whatever you can find. There are XS ones out there as well, don’t forget.
My 11yo son is riding a small Brand-X HT-01. I'd have loved to find a XS BFe but they're rare and pricy!
Consider also the 14" inbred.
Check TT length and geometry carefully - for example the Inbred is loong.
