I've searched all over for this but can't find a definitive answer anywhere.
Does anyone know the chainline of the outer ring on an M675 (SLX) Double Chainset? (The distance from the centreline of the down tube to the inside or middle of the outer ring).
Failing that does anyone know the distance between the inner and outer rings on this chainset?
I'd prefer to use the double crank for a 1x10 setup but only if the chainline is sensible.
Thanks
Just gone 1x on a slx double. Shifted a BB spacer from drive side to non drive side to improve alignment.
Just changed from an slx double crank to Saint and chain line is much better.
Some info here:

Note, X1 for a double should be compared to X2 of a triple.
About 2mm difference on a 10 speed crankset.
Also note the tabs on a 2x10 SLX will foul the chain on a 32T ring. I spaced my 32 inboard by 2mm. Swapping a bb spacer to the non drive side can also work.
Running a 2x10 crank with a 32 narrow wide with no device - no chain line or dropping issues.
Didn't have any problems with the tabs fouling the 32 on my 2x10. I did have to use spacers on the 32 ring on my other bike with a 3x10 crank due to tab fouling. But likewise, have a normal slx mech and nw ring and no chain dropping.
Thanks for the advice. That link was really useful.
I think the chainline is probably even further outboard than 50.3mm. That measurement is to the centre of the outer chainring but looking at pictures of the M675 chainset the outer ring has pressed mounting tabs which a NW ring won't have. The difference in chainline between a triple and a double is more like 2mm plus the depth of the tabs.
I'm still tempted by the looks and narrower q-factor of the double but the chainline is probably a lot better on the triple. I guess I could go for the double and add spacers between the spider and chainring.
