just got my new SLX brakeset. There is a small black piece in the box that I dont know what its for. There is one for the front and one for the back.
Can anyone tell me what it is for?

goes on the bolt to stop it unwinding.

No idea, I never used them, whatever they are.
Brakes seem fine regardless.
