Just had a new Sky HD box put upstairs.
So, the old one. Can i put it on another telly in the house and how do i wire it to the sky dish? Can you?
I have no ide, just thought someone else might.
Not bothered about changing channel in another room, its just for my Turbo telly.

Thanks

If you have a spare lnb yes. If you don't, no.

Its possible if they installed a quad lnb disk.

In short, yes, probably as long as you have a spare LNB output

You've probably got a quad LNB [4 outputs], you'll need to run a 75? cable to the dish and connect it to a spare output with an 'F' connector at each end

What they said ^^^^

All the parts including cable can be had cheap from B and Q or online.

Doddle to do so I wired the whole house up.

If they put in an HD box then there will almost certainly be a quad LNB on the dish (I don't think they put doubles on, and you need at least two for the HD box), so you should have two spare connections on the dish.

All of the necessary connectors and cable can be bought at Maplin or somewhere similar.
