Got a Hope Mono Mini 180 rotor (skinny) intended for use with a Magura Julie caliper which obviously has some bigass pads. The actual braking surface if the rotor is c.half the width of the pad.
Given that the outside edge of the rotor reaches to the top of the pad, the bottom half of the pad will be braking a little further south than it should on the rotor arms.
Will I die?

But you might get some judder... A few mm isnt too bad but half the pad might be a bit much, if you have it all just try it and see.
