I'm getting a bit fed up of my pin ball impersonations every time I go out on my bike and I'm considering a skills course.

Preferably I'd like it to be a weekend in early May. I've heard good things about the "stop crashing" course from "Great Rock" but the only suitable date in May is on a Friday, and I'd be limited to public transport.

Does anyone have suggestions for other courses, or how to get to Lee Quarry on a Friday from south Manchester?

Dan you are very welcome on the Stop Crashing course on Friday 7th May. Just get a train to Todmorden station and I'll pick you up on my way past. I'll drop you off at the end of the day, no worries.

Send me an email and we'll get it all sorted out.

Hi Dan,

just to give you some more options I teach mountain biking skills up here at Mabie forest, you can get a Virgin to Carlisle then a local (bike friendly) train to Dumfries. Please have a look on http://www.mtbskills.eu for some more info, I helped develop the CTC mountain bike skills program and have raced across the globe for over 20 years now, my first book on mountain biking skills and technique is due out early next year and I have had features in MBUK amongst other magazines and web zines. Good luck..
Clive.

these people do great courses, I've done one and I'm going again at Easter. They've got various ones to pick depending on your current ability ๐Ÿ™‚
