Riding like a cock past other trail users just makes you a cock...

Forcing someone else off the trail is never, ever cool (ok it is in 4x)

to be fair, DH runs are a slightly different kettle of fish.

I did a Nigel Page training day a couple of years back and he was all about staying off the front brake and making the turns with the back wheel through a hefty dose of back brake and body english. Given he was absolutely leaving me for dead, he may have had a point.

Not something I would in any way condone for normal trail usage though.

(2 wheel drifts, feet up, do rock though ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Recently had my ass soundly kicked downhill by some young French lads who just skidded eveywhere. It seems there is no way you can steer round switchbacks as fast

maybe if he used the bermed corners rather than cutting the apex he could've?

That video brings back good memories, those tracks (they've combined two runs by splitting off) are very drifty and dusty, as is most of les 2 alpes. Once your going at any respectable pace, alot of the corners are one or two wheel drifts, even totally off the brakes.

I don't see anything wrong with the overtakes, if you think that's bad, never ride any dh tracks.

Not watched it all but at 1:00 the guy infront barges someone off the track, at a mega-avalanche/race I'd expect it but if it was just a ride I'd be pretty pissed off.

Skidding on DH tracks is OK I guess, they're meant to be cut up and rough. Anyone skidding deliberately on XC trails should have their disc brakes taken off them and replaced with a set of greased cantis. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If he barged me off the trail like that I d take great pleasure demonstrating to him how much I disliked it. Where ever the hell I was riding!
