I'm after a replacement middle chainring for my XTR chainset and have been stunned by the increse in price - £90 for an XTR replacement.

I've stumbled upon this KCNC replacement - does anybody have any experience with them or can anyone offer an alternative?

Middleburn are well thought of, they even do XTR specific replacements as some XTR cranks have non-standard BCD.

Hey specializedneeds - What's BCD?

BCD, or PCD-bolt/pitch circle diameter, the diameter of the circle that the chainring bolts sit on.

Try middleburn slickshift ones. They're a bit more expensive but I've got them and they are superb. Never had a problem and don't seem to wear!
