[#772215]

This weekend I had the great pleasure of riding SITS with Singletrack.

Condidering that the weekend should have been spent shopping for a new dishwasher, the decision to join them for a few laps was a fairly straightforward one.

We enjoyed the riding, the weather, the company, caught up with old friends, made new friends, we laughed at the furious swearing by the Salsa rider when his handover man was late.
In short everything that these events are all about.

So from Davey, Kate and Milo a massive thank you to Mark, Natalie, Alex, Benji, Tom and Sam, Dane, and of course Bert.

Oh and anyone got any recommendations for a good dishwasher?

Sorry 🙁

I'm not normally like that, red mist, lap 1, just gone flat out expecting to do one lap, only had one (empty) bottle, had it happen at Mayhem a few times...

(Very ashamed) Furious Salsa Rider

I'd like to say a big thank you to Singletrack too. I literally would not have been there if it wasn't for you!
Nice to finally meet Benji and to see Mark again. By the time I walked into the services on the way home behind him I think he thought he'd got a stalker (to coin a phrase).

hear hear ... Thanks to Alex for fixing the puncture and kenda for giving me the inner tube in return for the manky old one... Gee yeah who else could spit the dummy out not once but twice in a ten yards and in case any one had missed it and was not rolling about on the ground, no need for a replay, he stopped to abuse his own team stand 50 yards later then erupted in a fantastic bottle throwing routine which luckily managed to miss those it was entertaining... beat anything I've seen on telly for ages.. I thought such behaviour could only be observed at downhill events or on Fawlty Towers... was sad to be proved wrong though
