Crikey, I'm absolutely failing on these, but my partner is on fire. She normally fails with crosswords but absolutely flying with this.
I don't play the game (wordle) but I do OK on these, just pretty slow. I don't "see" anagrams so even if I had 5 or 6 of 7 letters in their worng places I can't easily spot the word and it feels like I'm spoiling the fun if I was to write anything down.
Didn't help that I don't seem to understand the rules - the 7 letter word stumped me for ages because my 1st guess had two Es in it and they showed as 1 green and 1 teal. To me that meant the answer had to have 2 Es in it and I couldn't think of any word at all, let alone a bike word. In the end the teal E was a maroon herring
