So I'm eyeing up a Genesis Day One disc (£650 2015 model) and wondering what else is around to tempt for similar money...?

Must be disc brake equipped and single speed, for everyday use with ability to take all the gubbins for year round, on- and (tame) off-road riding and eventually kids' seats.
