Is there such a thing as a single speed powerlink? My powers of google are failing me today, I just get pages with single speed chains and 8/9/10 speed chains with powerlinks.
Just use a normal 9 speed chain and a normal SRAM link.
I've got a PC1 at the minute and 1/8th chainring and sprocket, so 9 speed 'aint going to cut it!
I use this type of link for connecting my single speed chains. Use a flat headed screwdriver to pop it open again, never had any issues with them.
You can get an old fashioned splt link. That would work.
My chain uses a link like this:

Perhaps he's using a 1/8th chainring so a 9spd chain won't work.
Have a look on This page for sjs cycles, there's a few options for 1/8th chains and they're decent folk to deal with.
edit : Doh!...late to the party yet again.......
9 spd chain and SRAM link is the easiest
Do folk actually read the op and replies before posting?.....oh hang on - this is stw after all...silly me. ๐
Sorted now. Thanks for the responses, SJS sorted me out.
