Anyone confirm the correct chain type for a SS conversion useing a 32 ring raceface crankset (origanal 9s) and 16t rear sprocket mounted to a full sus using simple rear chain tensioner.

Been told I need a 3.32 chain could do with confirmation as these seem to twice the price of a 1/8 chain. Maybe its a strenght thing.

Thats weird about the price difference. I'm still unsure about the differences between 1/8th and 3/32, I'd have thought 1/8 would last longer but others suggest 3/32 is just as good and drops less.

Either way, avoid the SRAM 1/8th PC-1, caused me no end of problems until I replaced with a KMC and all the problems stopped!
