Im considering a clearout. Presently have an Anthem, Allez, Globe and a SS. I ride to work, long road rides, local xc and occasional wales trips.

Toying with idea of getting rid of everything except the Anthem with a couple of sets of wheels and maybe flat bar bar end option for the road.

Anyone done the same, would I regret it?

Of course you'd regret it - but in a good way. Good thing to do every once in a while, you can always expand again later. Bin the SS straight off - it's nice to have but can't be justified if you're looking to streamline things. Now that all the Teds ride SS it's a good time to take a break from it for a year or two.

Is a globe some sort of commuter? I guess this is the most important question - how are you going to cycle to work, assuming that the anthem isn't going to work for this if you have to lock it up etc? Get shut of the globe and ride the allez to work?

I cut down to 4 bikes recently and have ended up with a (road) fixie, a road race bike, a swift and a superlight. I instantly regretted dumping my 1x1 and my scandal but I ended up enjoying what is left rather more. At the drop of a hat (and a massive injection of funds) I'd sell the swift and the superlight and get a Pegasus but it isn't going to happen this side of the next General Election.

The road bikes stay, I am flexible (in theory) about the mtbs, but only if I get shed loads of dosh to spend on a Ti29er.
