My matehas a Nomad 216mm shock hes just got a cheap DHX5 air shock Very very cheap ineed of a service but i'll do him that ..
Only thing is that its 220mm long i took his old shock off & linkage did go back 1cm nearly will it do damage to his frame etc ..
I knowits silly but they wouldnt say 216mm shock fits & 220mm would they ?

My friend has a 216 mm shock
I have a 220 mm replacement
The linkage will accomodate the extra 4 mm length
Will it be ok to fit it to my frame despite the 4 mm difference.
I dont know the answer but I assume it will be ok
The stroke length would also need to be the same.
