I'm really bored of EU chat. So here's my new bike, which i forgot to post when i got it a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a BMX since before my GCSEs, some time in the late 90s. That was a entry level Redline so it's cool to get another one.

I've only ridden it once so far. I've made the brake work (a bit better), moved the lever to the Proper (Brexit approved) side & sorted the chain tension.

So quick round the local pump track - heading there after work this evening.

Any recommendations for dirt tyres? Comp 3s are too retro for me.

You appear to have bought a child's bike.

Nice! never too old to ride BMX. On the tyres - I use Schwalbe Moe Joes but not sure if they're still available.

I gather by your username that you are in fact a tiny person who can fit a childs bike?

If i got a BMX aged 42, how likely is it that I will break myself significantly trying to ride it??? ๐Ÿ˜†

For some reason that really does look like a kids bike more than a bmx ๐Ÿ˜€

iphone photo maybe?

I can assure you it's pro XL, so adult sized and fits me at 180cm perfectly.

Can I have a go?

i thought you only rode fat now? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I reckon you'll be good, but get one that fits. 1/2" in the TT makes a massive difference, my mates 20.5 feels very small.
