I recently took my forks apart to reduce the travel down a bit and in doing so managed to lose the bolt with the 3mm allen key slot straight through the middle somewhere in the cave that is my shed.
I have had 3 pairs of forks serviced by Si now since meeting him in the car park at cwmcarn, just as he was starting up and they have all come back sweet as a nut, so i decided to phone him and ask his advice on where i could get a replacement bolt from.
Si Didn't hesitate to offer me one from his stock and wouldn't except a penny for it nor it's postage.
Really appreiciated Bud and i just wanted to say thanks again.

Cheers

Matt

I've decided, if I ever really **** my Rebas up and I can't fix them then they're going to Loco. ๐Ÿ˜€

This sounds good, as I'm going to ring him tomorrow to fettle my Monarch shock.

Usually go to TFTune but they won't touch the Monarch. ๐Ÿ™

Si is a top man indeed. He's got one of our Lodge Cycles team DH riders on a Dueller and has tuned it to perfection. Then when we got Nukeproof Scalp frames in, he re tuned the shock to suit the leverage ratio of the new frame and got it running super sweet. He's also getting Ifan a new 2012 version and dialling it for him for next season.
Can't praise the guy highly enough.
Hope you had a good Holiday Si. You're gonna be busy for a while I think.

Good to hear ๐Ÿ™‚ I just emailed him earlier about getting my forks serviced, his prices are better than TF. Thinking of trying it myself but kind of seems like something best left to the professionals when you're as useless as me ๐Ÿ˜†

I had a brilliant time with sy this weekend at Oktoberfest, he does so much for the team but always puts his customers first, sometimes meaning he works bonkers hours. As has been noted on stw many times he is a very talented chap, but also incredibly generous and giving.

Without him I'd have gone through 4 or 5 sets of forks and shocks, but his advice and help have kept me on the bike around 18 hours a week.

Top chap indeed, his support has made my bonkers training and riding more than worth the effort.

PS. look out for him at a gravity race near you soon, he's a pretty nifty rider too ๐Ÿ˜‰
