Can't seem to get building a SS out of my mind, would also probably try this Rigid thing (Carbon Fork).

I have been watching these threads about 69ers/96ers with interest as well.

It will probably not happen, but just in case STW must have loads to look at.

Come on show us em!

Both cheap and expensive ones.

Miserable sod John.

Is the offer for that 'dog along the bike rig' of yours still on?

Now summer is on it's way I want to get our Archie out and about.

AndrewMoke, that's a de-stickered Kona Unit (2006 I think) If you ride a 16in frame JE James had a few 07 models left at a good price (black though, not poo brown!)

actually it's a 2004 Kona Explosif (before they started messing with the geometry), re-sprayed poo brown :o)

Here is my current fave. Frame and forks are only $550+shipping and designed by Mark Slate (WTB founder and all round bike guru!) Really differnent 29er geometry that should not work...but it does!

69/96? Pah . . . 20/20's where it's at. Unfortunately I only have an artist's impression at this stage . . . watch this space ๐Ÿ˜‰

. . . and yes, I know I have too much time on my hands . . . anyway, colouring helps my parcel stress.

They don't have to be rigid I was looking at photies of all types.

I'm sure the STW massive have many more than this though.

Only 2 on-one's? what's going on there?

No, I'm fine RudeBoy - parcel stress has gone now too (UPS van came this morning ๐Ÿ˜› . Now I have a bad case of respray impatience ๐Ÿ˜‰ . White powder coat made an ideal base coat and it's now pink after keying with fine grade wet and dry.

Don't worry I haven't gone all soft ๐Ÿ˜‰ - fingers crossed a Volkswagen orange overspray will have it looking the perfect match for my Tazer . . . and then there's the lacquer. Hopefully it'll be up and running by half term.

Love the 96er Fisher - is that a steelgary fisher 29er frame?

Loving that RM Vertex too - wouldn't mind that for my geared HT.

What is that (Ti) frame with a couple curvy tubes and the USE mono fork?

Mikee. Thanks for the nice comment. It's a real Merlin one ๐Ÿ˜†

I got it on here as a frame, and I am so delighted with it. It's a fantastic ride, in spite of being weighed down by the rather hefty fork.
