Only 11 on-ones? 😯
Only 11 on-ones
surely that makes them niche?
😆
Nice Simple clunker, how is the RC31 fork, looking to get one for my Soul

Thanks mate, love the R31's have a set for the Bolx too.
ton, should think BigSi's forks are manitou minute 29s, air sprung, 80, 100 and 120mm variants, although not sure if the 80s have bolt thru
i've got a pair of 80mm QRs on my race bike, and have just got a pair of 26" 120 bolt thrus for my solitude, lovely forks - very light for the travel. no sure what effect a 'bigger' guy would have on the flex though, if it matters to you (not that mine are flexy (or not that i've noticed...))
Sorry flickr q! 😳
Clicking on the all sizes. and then med the other day(show us your rescue dogs) I cut copy and post the url. When I tried it to post a pic of bike- it wouldnt let me.
Do I need to use the link back thingy? and will that post a pic or just the link?
Bit thick with these new fangled computerers!

😀
Ton - They are Manitou Minutes in 100mm guise with the bolt through.
Good forks for the money although i have found them a bit difficult to set up as a heavier rider because they are either too soft or bottom out the travel too easily if you ramp the pressure up. My LBS have suggested changing the spring in them to solve the problem (?) but they won't do it as getting hold of spares can be a nightmare apparantly.
If i had the money i would get some Fox F29's or Reba maxel jobbie but am happy with these for now.
Loving the Karate Monkey and the GF 29er Ferrous.
Is that the same voodoo ive spotted in Newcastle?
Do I need to sell my PA 853 and Barry White and buy a Blue Pig?

Pace RC305.
skyliner - yr ellsworth looks like an old-school yeit arc! v.nice
My two postings are as common as muck !
Cotics may be common CG but they are classy 😆
Chucky - sorry but disagree. My MLC is classy but she hasn't been posted yet. Shall I?
Grizzer - if you're refering to Newcastle-under-Lyme and the orange Wanga then yes that's very probably me. I'm in Hartshill/Basford.
I love those 1st generationTrek 69ers. Looks good with the Niner carbon fork. Though do think they looked great with the Maverick fork as off the peg. Beautiful bike IMHO, probably the best looking MTB that Trek had done up to that point.
look at you CG, throwing a bit of titanium in the middle of all these crappy steel/Ally things.
looks nice though 😆
She is fabulous, love riding her once I got used to her. Her pick-up descending is incredible but she holds a line well. I get the Ti thing and she will always be number 1 8)
skyliner - lunin yr arc,was hoping to see the white/black one mind - complete with oakly stickers, like the yellow too!
Cheers rancho, got to admit tho the Ellsworth was best. The only thing to climb better was the cable car!! 😆

First post on the forum, so hi everyone.
I'm Glenn from Croydon and I ride a Cove Handjob. Have had this since early 2008 and love it. Previous ride was an '00 Marin Rock Springs.
Some awesome bikes here! I'm looking forward to spending some more time on this forum 🙂
Lowering the tone slightly from these lovely builds, my trusty Revolution Triad 2.0 (2008) - got me into off-road after many years on-road... note typical-roadie positioning of saddle 🙄
