Been building it up for 6 months now and finally got out on it today and it's epic, brilliant all rounder. Anybody else out one to share ?

Awful colour scheme, Im sure it rides well. Those tires look a bit thin though?

I've long wanted a Pitch, but opted for a Marin 140 instead. I didn't realise just how long in the top tube the Pitch is...
needs a bit of dirt on the white bits in my opinion.
never understood using white on things that are going to end up brown.

Sean that lush and the chap i brought it off changed it stupidly but i got it dirth cheap anyway. Defo needs a change however. Ok so for you guys in the know how much do you think its worth

Ohh, any excuse... completely standard 'L' model, except a 690mm bar, mushroom gill grips, better saddle. Generally O/E eskar tyres have been great, occasional change to Mountain King 2.2 protections, the brown sidewalls of which go really well with the frame colour 😉

Love the bike, just always get a feeling I'm not doing it justice. Then think, sod it, it's mine, why should I ride to other peoples perspectives?!

I have upgraded it a bit, (2009 model)
Sunline V1 710mm bars with Sunline V1 stem, Hope headset, Hayes Carbon brakes with 203mm rotors front & back! Mavic Crossline wheels
SDG belair ti saddle, DMR V12 pedals. Various tyre choices, currently schwalbe racing ralph on rear and single ply maxxis minion super tacky on front. (I got a bit fed up with the Eskar front washing out from under me).
Rides really well, very fast when you point it down.
Still not keen on the bronze colour but hey ho I bagged it new for under a grand so . . . . .
Yeah get a picture up it sounds nice.Looks like mine isnt favoured my the singletrack world but for sub £1300 with Slx and Fox i cant complain.

In fairness, unless you're a pro racer than very, very few people do their bikes justice. I know that in the hands of a truly skilled rider my bike would be capable of loads more than I put it through. But I enjoy riding it so frankly couldn't care less. 🙂
Maybe not favoured on singletrack, but loved by MBUK and WMB 😉
Heres what Guy Kesteven posted to me on facebook ' The only reason that wasn't one of the shortlisted bikes in the WMB bike of the year was because Spesh told us they weren't going to get anymore. Eejits!
Anyway you are lucky enough to have one ' and he knows a thing or two about bikes I think! 😆
Cheers Oxboy rode it yesterday and the ride really is awesome. Tracks so well and really inspires confidence.
