mostly balanced yes it is , ive only had a short spin so far but it felt sound mate. the outer diameter is a bit smaller than my 2.55 29er tyre (30mm iirc) so it lowers the gear a bit . no a bad thing with the extra weight and snow i guess.
im just praying for more snow for a proper test , will report then 😉

After snapping two mech hangers in three days, I've decided to SS the Pegasus for the winter. Here she is after the first SS ride this morning on the Chilterns. Running 32:19, which got me up the hills that weren't sheet ice, and wasn't too spinny on the fast bits. Very impressed overall. Chain's a bit slack as it's obviously stretched on it's first ride.
