This is my most used SS (actually, it's my most used bicycle :D)

Moving a few cakes of hay in a feedsack here, and looking like a tramps bicycle as a consequence (err, appropriately enough perhaps).

Now back on rigid forks (and much better for it).

It didn't last.. turns out SS for off-road is nowhere near as good as it is for road unless you're only riding flat/fast stuff. For things where your "flow" is interrupted it's crap.

My SS road bike on the day I got it, I've finally just received some spds for it today. It's also considerably dirtier.

I think sir may find that he needs bigger legs or a lower gear ratio.

never mind if you go back to downhill riding you don't need big legs, all you need is to be a bit fat as the inertia and momentum will drag you down the hill fast enough 😀

Scaredy, are we to understand that underneath that Milletts-yard-sale of random bags, mud and, well, just stuff there's actually a bike?

I mean, your stem seems to have some sort of fungal infection. You really ought to have that looked at, you know.

I dunno, I'm fine with 48-16 on my road bike and thinking of going up to bigger, but 32-16 on mtb I've found to be really awkward for off roading. Very nice for downhilling as it's dead silent 🙂 The fat helps there as well.

I was still experimenting with the whole SS thing at the time that picture was taken.
I'll stick with it, so I'll be getting a matching rim now.

You can see them, because you have a Talk Photography account. All everyone else gets is a red cross. Try hosting them on Flikr, of similar.
