I think sir may find that he needs bigger legs or a lower gear ratio.never mind if you go back to downhill riding you don't need big legs,all you need is to be a bit fat as the inertia and momentum will drag you down the hill fast enough
I dunno, I'm fine with 48-16 on my road bike and thinking of going up to bigger, but 32-16 on mtb I've found to be really awkward for off roading. Very nice for downhilling as it's dead silent 🙂 The fat helps there as well.
