Not a nice frame and some bling parts, frames that you have had a hand in designing. Oh and some of the rationale for the design would be good too. Am thinking of getting a custom frame built next year for my 30th. (was going to get one for my 21st but didn't)

Have seen a nice wolfhound over on ride monkey but what have you got?
And yes sheldon this can be an excuse to post the [s]towel rail[/s] spork. 😀

Stu... do you keep the frame in the garden to keep the grass down?

:o)

I'm not sure I have any pics from from when my Solitude was being built, in fact I'm not entirely sure where the pics of it built are either... ho hum.

[img] [/img]

Started off with a drawing...

Then making all the bits hold together:

Did it all myself guv!
[img] [/img]

Fillet brazed steel singlespeed - based around a current frame, but with a few tweeks to the angles to suit me.
Just sorting it out for painting at the moment, also finalising the BB assembly.

Nicknoxx - is it a 29er?
Who is building it, looks nice, and is it designed for a rohloff?

Yes, it's a 29er and Yes it's for a Rohloff. Being made by Lynskey. Forks from Waltworks but not unicrown as in the drawing.
It's my 50th birthday present

You're right Nomads do look crap. Not quite sure what that's got to do with this thread though. 😆

I was told six weeks when I ordered it.

It took quite a bit longer than that to arrive though.
Then he had to build me another one with the measurements I'd originaly asked for. 🙄

All worked out in the end though.

Actually ayatollah, i don't recall having ridden your ego chariot. I had a go of a gryphon that you [s]were mincing about on[/s] had borrowed which was actually pretty nice. Are you bring the ego chariots up north later this year? maybe will have to have a comaprative ride. 😀
And to be fair, it is also a little out of my price bracket currently.

That rourke and t'lynskey are very nice

t'lynskey - yorkshire, through and through*

* May haev been drinking quite alot. 🙂

...clearly singlespeedstu's got this one in the bag 🙂

Designed by me and then built in titanium by some nice men direct from China - circa £550, four weeks from start to finish:
