I fancy building one of these up. Got most of the parts I need apart from forks, is anyone running a longer fork on theirs?

If you get one of the original ones they can officially take up to 120mm.

Unofficially I'm sure any will be fine up to 130ish. Nice looking frames up close.

Here's mine as it was in 2014.

Started off as a S (120mm forks) model in 2013 and then I put on a set of Hope Hoops with straight pull hubs/spokes, 1 x 10 XT with a hope extender ring at the rear. Also changed the brakes to Hope X2's.

I think they are great simple bikes and mine has done the coast to coast ride and was the bike that made me sell my old 26er Five. I changed the Five for a Whyte M109 but this lasted less than a year before I bought my Ripley. I still have both the Clockwork and the Ripley.

The Clockwork still runs the Recon Silver forks which are a little heavy but other than that they are the only thing left to upgrade now but they have been on for 4 years and still work fine.

I did have a dropper post on for a while and may still put one back on.
