Ah yes, one of my bad habits, odd bikes 🙂
Pic1 - Dahon Hammerhead converted to singlespeed. Very much the wrong bike to take on the Great Glen Way, but that just makes it more fun 🙂
Pic2 - just something I've cobbled together for fun. Cheap surplus frame, converted it to belt drive. Front fork is an American cruiser fork I was experimenting with. Oh, and converted to take a 29er front wheel. Again wrong bike, wrong place.
Pic3 - Surly Pugsley, basically a conventional build. It's a snow bike and runs 4" tyres
Pic4 - Avanti KISS 29er - the pic is in Oz, and the bike is a NZ product. Very similar to the SIngular IMO, but not quite as nice feeling fork. I'll be putting a carbon fork on it on my next trip over so that will sort that.
If you take a look at my Flikr you see a few more oddities 🙂

John muir way is a nice trail, mostly ridable on any bike from a hybrid in dry weather to a CX bike to regular MTB.
Scencic and you see some of the nicest coastline in Scotland as well as lovely small coastal villages.
Can be done in a very long day but spend 2 days and enjoy the cafes and stuff along the way 😮
