finally finished it sunn frame from 98 bought of some web site maybe here, new project 2 fork and 2nd hand wheel and the rest of the bits off the old bike £100 notes or less spent

mmm, sunn...

I don't have any photos, but built up a '98 frame as a 'commuter/gf's bike' for sub £100 last summer (seeing as my bike is a sunn from back in the day, I thought it'd be a good combination). 1x9 gearing, rigid, v's, stupidly light and fast. Only problem is that it's so good it's been treated to several upgrades since then, I don't see the trend stopping as they are just beautiful bikes to ride.

Hope it's the start of a wonderful relationship... 🙂

Saddle and tyres look a bit shonky

mine (1*9 speed because the chain/casette worked out cheaper and got the 9spd LX shifter for a fiver):

EDIT: Now I've actually read the thread title, I've noticed the commuters bit. Am feeling a bit silly now. As you can probably guess, its no commuter

the saddle is about 12 year old xlite on and the tires about 8years old. the bike is going to be used to get to uni in liverpool so the shitter looking the better

Nice looking for less than a £100, it deserves some lube on the chain & cassette though! 😆
