I'm very tempted by one of these, an ideal experement to break my steel frame virginity...

Saying that I ride a light as **** steel frame bmx like everyday so why not try one on the mtb?

If you have a Sirius what's your verdict?

I absolutely love mine! worried about it being the right bike as i couldnt try it but just went for it and love it to pieces. probably my favourite bike i've ever owned - or possibly that was my first 'proper' mountain bike - a ridgeback mountain sport something or other.

Don't use it as much as I should, other bike is an Orbea Alma which gets much more use. No real issues with the Sirius, much more fun on the downs than the Alma, but as I prefer climbing so the Alma wins. The Sirius is fitted with Recons and climbs well when they're wound down to 85mm, it's just it's a couple of kilos heavier than the Alma. The of the kit is XT, so no issues there.

A good fun bike which is as comfortable as the Alma (carbon) and a good all day bike. ๐Ÿ˜‰
