I'm designing some club kit (we do a special edition jersey each year in addition to the standard kit) and am looking for inspiration - so, links/pics of cool kit designs please (ideally not any hosted on pic websites like picassa/fotopic/flickr/etc as they're blocked at work...)

Thanks!

tassels are "in" this year, as are string vests, perhaps a combination of both?

How about something in black and white to represent all the negativity in 2009.

I think Twin Six have some of the best designs available:

I like the bic one. Where do you get them?

This is my favourite, mainly because it's my Mleh avatar.

Thanks for the suggestions so far 🙂

DezB, sadly photobucket is blocked so I'll have to wait till I'm home to see whatever golden nugget you posted...

FuzzyWuzzy - you'd be suprised just how close that skull jersey is to one of the designs I'm working on...

Jojo, Prendas do them I think. Combine with matching bike for maximum impact:

I still like idea of a green one with roulette table-style graphics. Oh and make a baggy one that I can wear at the next Megavalanche. 😆

How about doing a mockup mr_a - sounds like a good idea. Baggy ones - just get a bigger size 😉

Just had an idea, you could do a 'credit crunch' special edition in the style of Tesco Value products.

I might pinch that idea for our local club.

Indeed... sadly that picture doesn't display the riding skills to back up the "factory" look. 🙂

Clubber, I'll fire up MS Paint and see what I can do.

I'm still scratching my head over TheFlatBoy's comment.

A Tesco Value jersey sounds ace and you'd get a shout-out on b3ta too. 🙂

Thats_not_my_name - where can you get the twin six jerseys in the UK? A quick google didn't throw up any obvious sources.

just suggesting that for a bike jersey it looked like they couldn't spell... bike.

apologies for poor punning and the already limited humour now being completely removed by the need for an explanation 😆

Personally speaking, nothing will beat our neon jersey, it is a design classic.

What about a NASCAR inspired jersey..

[img] [/img]

A bit like the STW one but a lot better, would look good in purple and gold.

tinsy - we've already done a retro one
[img] [/img]

And this is Kingtut's Neon one (he had a part in designing it)
[img] [/img]

And this is the 'standard' one
[img] [/img]

We don't really do subtle...

For some retro style ideas, have a look at www.solo.cc. They've got some really nice designs.

I like TwinSix too, would be great if Russtler (importers) would pull their fingers out and get some decent stock.

Prendas have loads of retro roadie stuff too. Velogear.com have hundreds of unusual jerseys, including things like loads of US College bike teams, city themed shirts, all sorts of weird/interesting stuff.

I bought mine from Arcvelo in the States. Cost me about £35 in the end, which isn't bad considering the quality. As someone else mentioned, Russtler import into the UK, but they didn't have the Argyle jersey when I contacted them.

You can order direct from Twin Six, I've done it a couple of times and never had any problems getting the stuff through.

Very smart Clareymorris. Been having a look at their site and quite fancy a couple of the (appropriatte) Fat Cyclist designs. Oh to have a job again (well money anyway).

anything graphics based or ironic just makes you look like a ****.

Plain is where it's always been at, and non bike brand unless you're on a road bike, at which point Rapha is acceptable.
