I live in Taunton, and have ridden Ashton Court plenty of times. I have ridden 50 Ache Wood, Leigh Woods and Blaise Castle with friends a few times, but it's always seemed like a bit of local knowledge was invaluable.
The planets have aligned to give me some riding time this evening, and I wondered if anyone fancied showing off some good bits of trail? The tighter, steeper and gnarlier the better.
I'll be out from 6 to 9.

I'm not around but I've emailed this thread to a few people so check back to see if any of them can help.
Solo ride in the end, but none the worse for it. I did the blue route in Leigh Woods, which is new to me, and then had an explore of the non-waymarked bits. Found both picknick bench descents which made me smile cos it's been 4 years since I was there last.
Will definitely be back again in a couple of weeks, it's way more fun than Ashton Court 🙂
