Should my Evoc pack have come with a helmet holder?

Picked up an Evoc Trail Pro 16 today and didn’t realise until I got home that it doesn’t have the front flap for storing a helmet in.

Should it have done? Is it an extra?

I’d have to check but I think it unrolls from under a flap at the bottom.

Yeah, check the underneath of the bag, probably zipped away.

No my dude, they're an extra; £20ish.

Cheers, it’s not tucked away anywhere, it’s a clip on / removable type. I thought / assumed it would come with it but I think the mandalorian has it right 😞

Yeah my trail pro 26 didn't come with one either. No big deal for me, I've probably used that feature on my camelbak once in the years I've had it.

Jaysus, not including it is taking the pi*s. The Evoc bay I bought 15 yrs ago included it. Not sure if I ever used it to carry a helmet but was good for stuffing a jacket in to.

Actually, did use it to hold \ carry a helmet once, but that was going through an airport 🙂

Nope. It doesn’t come as standard and I’ve struggled to find a bodge to carry a chin bar with mine. It’s not made it into my regular pack collection as a consequence, I preferred other Evoc pack layouts - though this one is floaty light.

😞 it’s a chin bar I think I’m most likely to want to put in it, might have to get the sewing machine out!

My CC had one, useful a number of times when hiking, cheap as chips to build into a complex and premium design. It’s a shame they’re now extra.

Just a chin bar, or a full face helmet? If the former, just stick it though the waist strap.

I love my Evoc bag but they are a bit cheeky.

Expensive.
Extra for bladder.
Extra for helmet holder.
Soon it'll be extra for straps. 🤔

I bought a 10L one to replace my 5 year old FR/Lite or something. Same size, different layout, no helmet holder. Bought one of Tredz. I prefer this layout to my previous one esp the side pocket. It is super light and comfy as well - but yeah EVOC is the Audi of backpacks. Everything is now an option.
